CHEETAH - Providing User Guidance throughout the Agile Process Lifecycle

In today's dynamic business world the economic success of an enterprise depends on its ability to react to changes in its environment in a quick and flexible way. To address this need several approaches for flexible process support have been proposed. Although the benefits of flexible approaches are evident, their acceptance in practice highly depends on how well users are supported during the entire process lifecycle. Goal of the CHEETAH project is to develop a software platform which combines agile planning with enhanced user support throughout the process lifecycle. In particular, the CHEETAH platform will provide integrated support for all decision deferral patterns. The results of the CHEETAH project will help to improve the applicability of flexible process support systems by assisting users in balancing flexibility and stability. In addition, through its integrated support for decision deferral patterns the CHEETAH platform will foster the systematic evaluation of these patterns.
